Is Ceramic Coating Worth It?

Calgary is hard on paint. Between road salt, gravel, intense UV, and Chinook freeze-thaw cycles, your clear coat takes a beating year round. Ceramic coating is one of the best ways to protect it.
What ceramic coating actually does
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your paint and cures into a hard, hydrophobic layer. It does not replace good washing habits, but it makes them far more effective:
- Water and dirt sheet off instead of sticking
- Road salt is much easier to rinse away before it can corrode
- UV oxidation and fading slow down dramatically
- The finish stays glossy with less effort
Is it worth it for Calgary drivers?
If you keep your vehicle for more than a year or two, yes. The winter salt season alone is enough to justify the protection. A coated vehicle is quicker to clean and holds its value better at resale.
How we apply it
We prep the paint first with a wash, decontamination, and light correction so the coating bonds to a clean surface. Then we apply and cure the coating on site at your home or office.
